With the time change today, I found myself waiting around for Church in the morning, and decided to take a quick ride through Downes Bowl.
It was a great morning for a ride, and there was even some blue sky here and there, which always makes it feel nice. There were several trees down across the trail since the last time I rode here, which made for an enjoyable change.
I focused on making a GPS track of as many trails as I could, so I didn't spend much time re-trying obstacles or hills that I didn't make the first time. My ride was about 40 minutes, and I was surprised to have covered as many trails as I did! I ventured down paths I hadn't gone on before, with the hopes of having a more comprehensive map the next time I go out. I wonder if I can somehow join several gpx files together to add the trails from another ride to this one?
Anyhow, it was a bit slippery, but probably more-so for a bike than for a unicycle. I found if I took my mounts easy, the slipperiness wasn't a problem. I didn't slide DOWN anything, which was nice. No injuries!
