Torker Unistar DX-24 MUni

Not long after I got my first unicycle, I heard about Mountain Unicycling, and was drawn to the idea.

I rode the Sun offroad on a few "wheelchair accessible" trails, and was getting pretty comfortable with that, when I decided to take the plunge and purchase a real MUni (Mountain Unicycle). I decided on the Torker DX24 for it's strength and low price. Looking back now, perhaps the Nimbus would have been slightly better, due to the brake mounts that mine lacks. However, I have no complaints.

Switching from the Sun to the Torker was tougher than I thought it would be. The fat, round profile tire on the Sun gave an advantage for turning, and I found turns very difficult initially on the Torker. Also, the cranks were longer, and the knobby tire had a different feel to it. However, now that I've gotten used to it, I much prefer riding the Torker.
